I'm Lindsay

Lindsay Dagiantis is the founder of blueprintHR and a fractional HR leader who partners with growing companies to bring clarity, momentum, and senior-level perspective to the people side of the business. Based in Chicago, she understands the business first — then steps in as both an advisor and operator to build HR foundations that support the next phase of growth. Lindsay is also a leader in the Fractional People People community, where she supports strategic and tactical operations, rethinks how work gets done, and coaches new fractional leaders across industries — always with a servant-leader mindset and a belief that this work should be both meaningful and fun.

My Story

My path into HR leadership has always been grounded in the business — not just the function.

Before founding blueprintHR, I spent over a 15 years leading people operations inside growing and complex organizations. I served as a Vice President of HR and People Operations, partnered directly with CEOs and executive teams, and built HR functions that supported companies through rapid growth, organizational change, and global expansion.

Across these roles, I was responsible for both strategy and execution — from compensation and benefits to hiring, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and leadership development. Working closely with finance, legal, and operations shaped how I approach HR today: as a core business function with real operational impact.

What influenced my approach most wasn’t any single title, but seeing the difference timing makes. I watched companies bring HR in too late, or treat it as a back-office function, and saw how quickly growth slowed as a result. I also saw how clarity, prioritization, and sound judgment could accelerate progress just as quickly.

Founding blueprintHR was a natural next step. It allows me to bring senior HR leadership to companies earlier — in a way that’s flexible, practical, and aligned to their stage of growth. Today, I work alongside leaders and HR teams to strengthen what’s already in place, focus on what matters most, and build people foundations that support what’s next.

That same mindset carries into my role as a leader in the Fractional People People community, where I support operations, coach new fractional leaders, and help rethink how HR and leadership show up in the evolving world of work.

At every stage, my philosophy remains the same: understand the business first, lead with clarity, and build thoughtfully — without overbuilding.
